Soapies for gift

I wanted to offer an original gift to my niece for her baptism, then I decided to make favours . These 52 personalise mini soaps were an other way to say "thank you" to the guests who have been there for this special day.

Inspiration for the wrapping was present but I had to many ideas and it wasn't easy to choose only one

I loved the colour for this one for example but it didn't look finished

So, I decided to go for fabric scraps! On top of that, it's more ecological than paper. Anyway, this is an other subject

I cut them into rectangle and ironed, for folding it's much easier

I wrapped them in different fabric scraps

Then, I made the label, by hand!!!! Definitely, I'm going to buy a printer. 104 label, for the 2 sides, It was ssooooo long!!! But I'm enjoying it anyway

I do love the result, it's colourful and cheery. Her parents were so happy as well with the soapies and the guests were surprised by this unusual gift but very please. It was funny to see all of them having directly this same reaction,  sniffing the soap (smile: it remember me somebody...)

  2. Mici mici!!
